Vietnam Airlines Plans To Order 4 Boeing 7E7s.

Vietnam Airlines has been expanding before the scheduled start of service to the U.S. early in 2005 and had said previously that it was in negotiations with Boeing to buy four 7E7s. The 7E7s eventually will replace the carrier’s fleet of Boeing 767-300s. In addition to four 767-300s, Vietnam Airlines operates six Boeing 777-200ERs.

It plans to buy four of the jets, for delivery in 2010. A firm deal is expected to be signed in the first quarter of 2005, Boeing and the airline said in a joint statement.

The announcement came one day before time runs out for Boeing to get as close as possible to its sales goal of having 200 orders for the 7E7 by the end of the year.

A comment left at Little Green Footballs claims Wonkette is a fraud because she works for Gawker Media company and ads are run on the site. This is a bunch of garbage. by most definition of the word Wonkette is a blog. Advertising can be seen on most blogs nowadays including this one.

Ohio recently finished the state’s recount with George W. Bush still the winner. Quote:

The recount shows Bush winning Ohio by 118,457 votes over John Kerry according to unofficial results provided to The Associated Press by the 88 counties. Lucas County, home to Toledo, was the last to finish counting.

The state had earlier declared Bush the winner by 118,775 votes and plans to adjust its totals to reflect the recount later this week.

The Kerry campaign supported the recount, but said it did not expect the tally to change the election winner. Supporters of the recount, requested by two minor party candidates, said they wanted to make sure every valid vote was counted.

Kerry gained 734 more votes in the recount, and Bush picked up 449, mostly from disqualified ballots that were counted in the second tally because hanging chads had come loose when ballots were handled again or rerun through counting machines.

That put Kerry 285 votes closer to Bush. The president’s victory margin declined by about three dozen more votes when some counties adjusted their certified vote totals

Kerry got a recount the race for President is over. Face it, Bush is the President. It is a waste of time and energy for those people who continue to fight the election results in Ohio.

They would be much better served in a true rehabilitation center than in prison where there is no real help, no real programs to rehabilitate, no programs to educate, no way to be prepared for life “out there” where each person will ultimately find herself, many with no skills and no preparation for living.
