The only regularly great part of the Jimmy Fallon show is the fact that The Roots are the house band. Thank goodness DJ Heat put a compilation together of performances of The Roots and guests on The Jimmy Fallen show.

Young Buck has a song with Glasses Malone called “My Zone” that has a gread sound. The song is produced by K-Salaam & Beatnick for their upcoming “Where The Streets Have No Name” compilation album (Powered by imeem and illroots)

Another free song from the “Where The Streets Have No Name” album is “In Jamaica” featuring K’Naan and Buckshot.

“Everybody with Me” from Ludacris featuring Shawna may the be first song off of the album The Battle of The Sexes that the two rap artists are doing together.

KRS-ONE and Buckshot have been working on an album titled Survival Skills set to be released in record stores August 25th and will be released on iTunes May 5th. The lead track “Robot” has been released which features KRS-ONE and Buckshot speaking on T-Pain and other things in hip-hop.

Wildabeast has a video for his song “iBeast Playlist” off of his upcoming Next Levels mixtape the song is produced by Madlib.

Kanye West has finally released his video off of “Good Morning” off of last year’s release Graduation.

This video seems to have been made a while ago because I remember watching a grainy version copied with a camcorder earlier this year. It is good to see Kanye West putting out more videos for his album even at this late date after release.

TheMeaningOfDope.com posted this video of A Tribe Called Quest performing “Oh My God.”

Great to see A Tribe Called Quest performing at the peak. It is too bad it doesn’t seem like another A Tribe Called Quest album will ever come out.

I recently got sent this new hot song called “Bang! Bang!” from the rap group The Knuxx. Good song with a positive message. It sounds a little bit like something Outkast might have done.

This song will be the second single on the album they are releasing on October 14th titled Remind Me in 3 Days.

Termanology and Bun B have collaborated on a new track produced by DJ Premier titled



Termanology will be releasing his debut LP, Politics As Usual, on September 30th, 2008 via ST. Records/Nature Sounds.

DJ Revolution has a song off his new album with KRS-ONE called “The DJ.” KRS-ONE is an always enjoyable rapper especially with some good production behind him. DJ Revolution ‘s new album King of The Decks arrives in stores September 16.
