In reading some of the newsletter scans I am also struck by the fact that they are written primarily in the first person rather than the editorial we, leading the reader to see the words as coming from Ron Paul himself. But of course, somebody else can (like the alleged “paleolibertarian” strategist Lew Rockwell”) write a first person piece. Politics is complicated, as always.
